When you are thinking of someone, just thinking about them, and suddenly they call you...or come over, what is this? Sorry, if the telekinesis thing is wrong...it was just a guess, I've never really read up on it. But what does it mean when you're thinking of something, or someone and you hear from them? Or when you say (or in my case I would say) "I want Tom Petty to play next, or next it's gonna be Tom Petty on the radio," and it is!!! What is the deal with that. I'm just looking for opinions!

OH MY GOSH, I SHOULD'VE KNOWN!!! Telekinesis is to move things, duh Toni (me)!!! In Charmed Pru had that power! haha, I kind of thought that...but then someone made me think otherwise! Gosh, I'm a goof!

It sounds like you have a bit psychic influence. Try this little exercise.
Get on a city bus and concentrate on the back of someones neck as hard as you can. If they rub the back of their neck or better yet turn around and look at you, you may very well have a bit of the gift.
Another good one to give it a good test is to gather together 4 or 5 friends. Sit around a phone and concentrate as hard as you can that _______________ should call you. If it is done right the person should be ringing your phone in 5 minutes or so. My friends and I did this one a with great success when were younger. Just make sure that the person you wish to call you is someone who would call you on a normal basis, not someone you have been on the outs with for several months.
A lot of people are psychic to some point that's how they know the car in front of them is going to cut them off, but to develop the gift takes time and practice.

Psychokinesis (literally "mind-movement") or PK is the more commonly used term today for what in the past was known as telekinesis (literally "distant-movement"). It refers to the psi ability to influence the behavior of matter by mental intention (or possibly some other aspect of mental activity) alone. As of 2004 the term remote influencing is becoming widely used for certain kinds of psychokinesis.
So, but I suppose you could use Telekinesis for what you describe.. I know exactly what your talking about and it happens to me all the time, its really erie. At least 2-3 times a day. I'll be thinking of a song, and it comes on, I am thinking about a person and I get a text message, amazing, what our minds and souls can do... Takes a gifted person to have that talent..Kudos=)

Yeah I know what you mean, I've always believed that everything happens for a reason. I also believe in karma. So maybe when you think those things you send out some type of energy. But it's not telekinesis, as mentioned above, that's the ability to move things with your mind.

It is coincidence or happenstance which ever sounds best to you. Funny how I don’t believe in it, I do believe how ever that when two people are thinking of each other, they are connected in more ways than the thought alone. Weird, huh. But true.
