he will be an asset to any team anywhere.
he is a great midfilder, as good at scoring goals as blocking them on the other end and his dfense splitting passes and tactics are fantastic.
he just hasn't kicked in for chelsea just yet.. he got an injury he'll shrug off, and he has to fit in2 england and the premiership.
he also has 2 adjust that he is no longer the main playmaker(as he is in Germany and was in B.Munich). lampard, robben, essien all take a playmaking role similar to his.
his ability to pull defenders towards him and thus making room for others, his passing and game-reading make him an asset. of the chelsea midfield... apart from lampard he is the best goalscorer as well. gud with both feet and beautiful long range shots..

He is a great midfielder with lots of skill and potential. He performed awesomely at the World Cup, but so far for Chelsea he hasn't been doing too great (well, he hasn't shined yet), but he will have to step up because Chelsea already has world class midfielders in Lampard, Cole, Essien, Robben, etc.. and their bench could easily substitute in for Ballack if he isn't playing too well. But I'm sure he will fit in nicely at Chelsea, he just needs a little time to adjust to the new team and the premiership.

Just give him time, he's an amazing midfielder... The thing is there are great players in Chelsea and they want to show their skills, besides Ballack is starting in a new area.

He scored against Korea in 2002 WC, but the friendly game with Korea in 2004, Germany lost this time to Korea 3-1. Korea scored first. Ballack equalised. Korea scored another goal. Germany was awarded a penalty kick. Ballack's penalty kick was graciously saved by Korean goalie Lee. Lee said that he predicted where Ballack's kick would come from. Korea scored the third and final goal. Ballack might have been weakened. Same thing might have happened to Miroslav Klose on that game. Oliver Kahn was dejected and he apparently did not save three shots.

He is an asset for any club no matter where he goes. No players can perform magic in every match. just give him some time to get use to the EPL. He'll soon be pulling those strings and knocking in those goals.

of course, he is really underrated. people don't understand just how important he is to the german team. he is the engine that makes all of their schemes work so well, because he is good defensively, but also an excellent scorer, and an outstanding passer. he really understands how to get the ball to where it needs to be

I don't think so, he'll be overshadowed by Lampard, Essien, Robben and Sean-Wright-Phillips
