that's with all other components and specs equal- the only difference is the way fuel is delivered... also throttle response- is there a difference?

Fuel injection uses numerous electronic measuring devices to determine the precise amount of fuel to squirt into the engine at any given instant. So it makes more power by not overdoing the fuel one second and giving too little fuel the next. It uses less fuel too by being more exact on the amount of fuel needed. Throttle response is smoother, more instantaneous and there are no hiccups or backfiring. It is so much better it is almost a sin that it took so long for all the manufacturers to make the switch to it.

And if a person wants to change pipes or air cleaner the electronic engine control unit can be adjusted using an electronic "magic box" They have several names.

Inject the right amount of fuel and make the wheels go around. The fuel injection revolutionized the auto industry a few years ago no cars use carbs today. Why they splatter fuel in waste gas and wear out cyl walls faster. Cars last longer bikes too! Injection Rules and computer controls

Go with the injected system. Carbs may be dependable but they are old school. Fuel injection is more instantaneous by not having to rely on venturies and air pressure to feed fuel into the engine.

It all depends on if they are factory set and the type of motorcycle we are talking about. If it's a busa, then no need talking, they are just plain fast, 200+.

F. I. is superior. EPA will mandate all engines to be injected in the next couple of years.
