It was a struggle between the two but I have to lean towards G.I. Joe. The loin cloth is what did in He-Man.

G.I. Joe for sure. For one, there is only one He-Man. But there are hundreds of Joes!! And from the way my brother and i used to set up G.I. Joe's we could take out He-Man, She-Ra and that green tiger any day.

G.I. Joe.
More realistic equipment (I'm talking the ones from the 80's and 90's), and body proportions than that walking pile of steroids, He-Man.
The Joes also had WAY cooler characters:
Snake-Eyes
Storm Shadow
Scarlet
Destro
Firefly
Stalker
Beach-Head
.... to name a few.

Damn, now that's a question!I had both as a kid. I'd have to go with G.I. Joes because they were smaller and easier to manuver. Plus they all came with a biography and bad-*** weapons
