hmm my first idea was to give you MY life story because it's quite interesting and deep for just a 19 year old if I say so myself but I plan to turn it into a book or something in the future (remember me) so scratch that. Now, down to business....how about you make it about a disabled boy who is always made fun of that meets a girl that sees and loves him for who he is on the inside only to eventually lose her to a plane crash...The story can switch from his adulthood to his childhood & teen years when she was in his life. (OR from her death on, his story is told from his adult point of view and how the girl changed his life and made him become the successful man that he is in the present) OR if your gonna stick to the TEEN idea just write how his life was before her, then during her then end it with her death :( sad, I know but great story plot how did I come up with that? good luck, I'd like to read your final story :)

If you want to write a book, but have to ask for an idea, then I'm going to have to say you must not be serious about writing it.

Especially since you said you 'dont care what its about as long as its a good idea'.

Before you start writing you may want to review sentence structure, punctuation and contractions of words.

Writing is hard work, done by the writer/author/poet of a work. It involves a lot of time consuming activites such as writing, proofing, having other people critique it, and revisions. If you're willing to spend a long time on it, then go ahead, but it should really be your own idea.

Try to come up with a main character for your story. Write down a description - male, female, eye color, etc. etc.

Then take this character and imagine then in some odd place or scenario – anything goes! Write down ideas on what would have to happen to your character or how they would react to the scenario you placed them in.

You can do this for multiple characters if you like.

This may seem futile, but it will help you flesh out some characters and give you insight into what you may want to happen to this type of character in a potential story. You may even come up with multiple story lines!

Strong well crafted main characters can inspire readers to love your story as well as drive you to write a great story for these imagined beings so be in! :-)

A teen boy and teen girl go for a walk in the woods when they come upon an old, abandoned castle that is really haunted. The huge, double door bangs shut behind them. Wandering through countless rooms, they encounter many paranormal phenomena as they search for an escape from their predicament. Eventually, they spot an old, creaky door under the Living Room carpet that contains a corpse, and so on...

Dear, you are no writer and have no clue what it takes to write a book. You say you don't care what it's about as long as the idea is good. You have to have experience writing about your subject, empathy for the characters, and a solid outline on where you will take each chapter and such. You sound like a ninny asking others for ideas and then stating you don't care what they are. You have no knowledge of what it takes to write a book and thus, I am sure you will NEVER write one.

I think before you start writing a book, you should concentrate on writing a correct sentence. In your statement, "teens" should not be plural or you should take out the word "a".... you can't do both in the same sentence.

My professor in college recommended writing about true events in your own life... then embellishing them and making them more exciting. Even a trip to the mall can be quite a story if all of a sudden a terrorist group takes it over... and only you and your friend are not detected and are the only ones who can save everyone.
