I can't remember the name of the movie you are talking about, but some of the others that Bette Davis was in that I remember were:
"Of Human Bondage"
"Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte"
"What Ever Happened To Baby Jane"
So many other really good films, perhaps if you go to this link in wikipedia you will find the movie you are talking about listed. She had a long and wonderful career, this link is pretty good, it tells you a lot about her life as well as her films!

Could you be thinking of "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte" starring Bette Davis and Olivia de Havilland?
"Mildred Pierce" was Joan Crawford, by the way.
Nope, checked again. Ridinthestorm is right - it's "Dead Ringer."
