Why do celebrities buy such elaborate unnecessary things?

For instance I heard about a celebrity (can't remember who) forgot their favorite hat in a hotel room, so they paid for the hat to be flown first class across the country. Why would anyone do that?

Besides, it is their money, they should be able to do with it what ever they wish.

i imagine this is because: a million. human beings have a herd instinct. they prefer to belong and be followers really of leaders. through with the flexibility to point at someone (every person) and slag them off, you're growing solidarity between others that believe you and it provides the nice and cozy temperature-feeling interior that you're extra constructive than they're. 2. It provides human beings something gentle-hearted and humorous to do in this existence complete of undesirable information and rigidity. it is also exciting to ensure about others' lives. Voyeurism i wager. 3. in the journey that they construction up an information of a particular concern e.g. What the present on Britney is etc, it provides them their own little empire: they get popularity from others for having unique information about something. 4. they're too apathetic to address topics that extremely advise something e.g. the conflict in Darfur or a large improve in area exploration. It helps them bury their heads contained in the sand. Tempting because it really is, I turn over the web page when I get to the popularity section.

1) They have a surplus of money so they can afford it. In fact they could probably do it a number of times before their bank account saw any trace of missing mone

2) Publicity, Celebrites are addicted to attention just like some of them are addicted to crack. so in order to stay in the lime light they need to do rediculous things to get attention

most celebrities are nuts and they cant control what comes out of their mouth i mean ok did u see tom cruise (the crazy scientologist) jump on oprahs couch come on that that was classic and he just did that for love and now he brain washed katie and like paris hilton said on the simple "i wanna name my kids london and china" thats stupid right i get what you mean by they say unncessary things but theyre celebrities ok they get paid they buy theyre designer jewelery and clothes and theyre done with it they dont care what they say they just want to make headlines and be in all the magazine and get deals with all the designer i mean thats what most feuds happen about POPULARITY its just there way of living
