The best thing is to think niavely that they really don't care and ask yourself what would you do if you were totally comfortable in that situation. If you do things sincerely; who cares? Don't be fake because you are only harming yourself.

Just build up self confidence. If you think highly about yourself, others will too, its just that you have to lead yourself and others will follow the same belief

This is a great question. I don't think I was ever really sensitive to what other people think of me, so I'm not sure I am the best to answer this question.

I say that I wasn't sensitive, but I think we all to some degree care about what other's think of us. I think that it's something built into us that we can't prevent.

If people are critical with you, it's their fault, not yours.

You need to raise your self-esteem. Maybe you put too much value on what others opinions are and that can be a problem.

Also, ask yourself this; if several people are saying the same thing, maybe you need to look within yourself.

You weren't specific about what people are saying or thinking, so that is why I gave you two answers. One answer is for someone who is internalizing others opinions that are hurtful and unecessary. The other answer is for someone who has some deep seated problems that are affecting others and should get help.

Never stop caring what people think, but, draw the line on how much influence you want the thoughts of other people to have on what you do.
Stand up for yourself, and do what you know is right, and the rest of the people can either accept it or go away..

You have to be comfortable with the skin you're in to be able to do that. It took me a long time for me to come to the realization that I am sensitive and that's just my personality. What's wrong with that? As far as caring what other people think, who cares what they think about you? As long as you're a good person, that's the key to having people like you for who you are.

Take a break from the usual crowd, and discover new activities. Participate in physical activities, to promote better health, and meet new people. Visit new places, discover what makes their city, town, recognized most by returning visitors each year. Rediscover yourself, and find your enjoyments. Thanks for asking.

Start by believing in yourself and by trusting your own instincts then build up your own self esteem. Then you wont care what people think of you because you will have that aura that exudes pride in yourself.

I think alot of it comes with age. As you mature you learn that what others say is not anywhere near as true or important as what you know about yourself. It ain't easy growing up. Good Luck.

It takes practice.

Try screwing someone over once a month at first, then just kind of work your way up to several a day.

Well, I don't know why you care in the first place. Do you need them for something? Do they entertain you? go ahead and be an idiot in front of them. It won't matter.
Just ask, why do I care? what do they benefit me by thinking higher of me?
