Yes, after a miscarriage you are able to get pregnant again. I just read, that up to 50% of pregnancies end up in miscarriages, and a lot of the time, women don't even know they were pregnant, or had a miscarriage becuase it was so early. But, anyway, I think they say that one month after your miscarriage, it is safe to start trying again. Here is something in reference to how long after a miscarriage, women try to conceive...

It's important for women to allow themselves time to grieve. "There is no definitive time period for grief," says Dr. Wahler. "But if the intensity and frequency of emotional episodes do not begin to diminish at some point, professional help is advisable."

Hope this helps.

My friend's doctor told her it was a good idea to have a couple of periods to make sure everything was back to normal first. She got pregnant again in less than 3 months and now her daughter is in high school!! But - of course - it is best to ask your doctor. Good luck and hang in there!

most drs say wait at least one reg cycle to three cycles before trying again. they mainly want you to give your body time to heal and the uterus time to return to its normal position. most people would say whenever you're ready, but I would say that if you rush it, you may have another miscarriage or serious complications!!
