I've heard that if you put toothpaste on a zit that it will help clear it up. Does it really work? I was wondering if I should do that and if I do how long should I leave the toothpaste on the zit?

It is the mint inside the tooth paste that works... What you need to use is tee tree oil... I keep telling people this! GEEZ O PETE! Tea tree pushes out imperfections in the pore and helps to regrow new skin! You can buy it at any local health food store... Tooth paste will not work as fast as tea tree oil because it isnt as concentrated! Tea tree will heal them over night.. even the ones below the surface.. Just use it in problem areas and dont get it in your eyes!

Do Not Put toothpaste on your zit.The theory behind that myth is that the the toothpaste will kill the bacteria in your pore,try running hot water under a wash cloth then put it on the affected area this heat the oil that plugs up the pore,and then wash your face with soapy water.Toothpaste will plug your pores up and irritate your skin making the zits look like boils

works for me. all it does is dries the zit up. just put some on before u go to bed and in the morning it should be at least half way healed.

Ive heard that it works but ive also heard it doesnt work! It just depends on your skin type! So just give it a try and see what happens...

Sometimes it works..put it on for a few hours..over night is fine.

why don't you just use zit cream? toothpaste is for your teetth.

yes it does work by drying up the oil in and around the zit.............................please leave this concotion on for at least 24 hrs

it could react bad with your skin....
test it out first... i have heard that it does and also doesnt.
i dont really wanna try it.
just wash your face with acne cleanser and it will work the same.

clean your face really good then you will feel an burning sensation if you can handle it on your face all night do it, if not try 30 minutes.

the best way to get rid of zits is to have someone drunk enough to bite it off and suck the pus out of it!!
