They seem to have been acting up, swimming throught the rocks during dinner time. Also, should I take them out of their tank and discipline them? I want to teach them a lesson.

i for my area don't be responsive to a particular thank you to place an end to his 'undesirable habit,' yet I carried out a technological information honest test on tank fish some years in the past. via fact i don't desire this to be a TLDR, I particularly used nutrients to entice the fish to pass with the aid of a maze. Your undertaking is the alternative, however the undertaking is, your fish has no way of understanding that the shortcoming of nutrients is via the fact he's dealing with your decoration. till your fish is donning a belt of razors, i will not see how he can scratch the exterior of the merchandise. while you're that throughout touch, you ought to block the archway with a see-with the aid of piece of plastic or the like, to stay away from the fish from dealing with it. That tank is the place the fish lives, and so a techniques as this is in touch, it is going to do what it likes...

Actually they are doing what they are suppose to be doing. It is you that has the problem and needs discipline. But not to worry I feel you will learn your lesson about how to treat any living thing that God has created. He will see to that.

Alright you have to place them in time out. Find a naughty rock in the tank and make them hover above it for two minutes. Just be greatful they don't spit rocks at you. I had a gold fish that hated my husband and spit rocks at him everytime he got near the tank.

If you take them out you may kill or damage them. Do you feed them during dinner time? If so that may be why they start darting around or they may sense your eating and are trying to get some from you.
