I think that the Nintendo Wii will have a HDTV feature because it is a next-gen console.

The Wii is not built for the graphics, Nintendo went for the game-play aspects more than anything else. The PS3 is 512 bits and the Wii is half of that. The Wii can support HDTV up to 540, but the PS3 can do 1080 and is meant to be played on a HDTV, you can also hook up two HDTV at one time to the PS3. The game-play is the selling point for the Wii not the graphics, the sweet part about the Wii is that you can go on-line and download all old Nintendo games for a small fee and play them so that cool.

The Wii can support up to 480p.

But the Wii isn't meant for high-definition graphics. It's meant for a new game experience the likes of which has never been experienced before.
