My I Pod shuffle stop working can anyone tell me what I can do?

I tried to put some new songs on my shuffle. And now it's not playing. The green light won't go off. Can any one with this type of ipod or anytype of ipod please help me!?!

Throw that piece of garbage away. Sorry, but just another piece of crap that apple threw their name on to make money.

My son has had to send his in for service 3 times. It was replaced twice. It just quit working. Best thing to do is to contact customer service.
