What's up with some of the stupid directions that come with some products? Example : I bought a curling iron and it really said things like "do not use to curl eyelashes", "do not curl hair in the shower or bathtub" and "do not curl hair in your sleep". I know some people's lawsuits are riddiculous and some people are dumb but....
And what about those great little cartoon directions on condoms on how to put it on and use etc. C'mon, everyone knows how to use a condom but then they leave out important information like whether or not condoms are dishwasher safe! J/K!!!

LMAO UNTIL the part about condoms. There are peeps out there who SHOULD NOT BE BUMPING UGLIES. I wish every condom came with a guy that showed some of these people how to put it on! People are so retarded and it's the really stupid ones that are multiplying.
P.S. My favorite is "do not curl hair in your sleep"

It really is crazy, isn't it? There have been so many lawsuits that they just do not want to leave anything out. Some of the best ones are those that have been put into English by someone who does not the language very well. Next time I see one I am going to write it down. Makes for good comic relief when you need it!

Maybe the country from where it was manufactured couldn't express themselves much as english is not their nat'l language but I'm sure they didn't like to sound dumb. Maybe on the eyelash thing, some people like to experiment and use it on their eyelashes, I won't be surprised. In the shower/tub, some want to do multi-tasking, you know. And while sleeping, because one could possibly fall asleep or do it on someone who's sleeping!
Remember the iron instruction, do not iron clothes on your body. It's stupid but guess what, I do that. I would iron my clothes and I'd be wearing them, it happens when I'm rushing to work but I make sure the heat is set to the minimum.

You would be surprised at how many people actually try to curl their hair in tub. And you would think that someone who knew what a condom was for would know how to use it but not everyone does.

You're right, there are a lot of stupid safety tips on everyday products.

As you mentioned, the reason is basic CYA. You'd be suprised how much money these companies save on insurance rates and legal fees by printing those dumb little lables!

Is that actual, many 1D followers were calling them chinese and ignorrant to the very incontrovertible reality that they almost really are literally not, (they are Korean) and calling the murderers. WTF!? Lol yet yeah Im sensible they'll, they are gaining acceptance, bypass ahead and purchase your tickets

Warning labels are designed to prevent lawsuits.
I like to think that the reason the more ridiculous ones exist is because someone actually tried it. Otherwise, I just get angry, because it means the corporations really think we're that stupid.

For liability issues. You will always have that one idiot who will do exactly what the warnings say not to do so that they can sue the company. This way, the company is protected from idiots. C'mon, even the frozen pizza boxes say "please remove plastic before cooking". Duhhhh....but, you will have that one stupid person. LOL
