how is the clutch, speed?...and is xA to light to drive through highway with gusting wind?

Drives great. Clutch is light, engine is torquey, and the milage is great. Not hampered that much by wind and all, but something to consider is whether or not you drive on the hwy a lot. The 5 sp is geared rather low, so when zipping around at 70mph, the tach is buzzing at around 3500 rpm. If you are a hwy driver, I'd strongly recomend going auto.

Not as much room as the box, but it's still pretty roomy.

The xa? boy o boy what a ugly duckling they drive just fine economical too. Why not look at Yarus by Toyota and Honda Fit and Nissan Versa? Chevy Aveio By suzuki My neighbor traided in a nice looking 90 Honda Accord for a XA I just shake my head side to side as I pass it parked in there drive way. Not just ugly fugugly

its Yaris by toyota and it has the same drive train as the Echo,Scion is manufactured by Toyota in Japan.
