...............logically, the correct spelling is the English one as it is the mother language of the American. It's true, the American has cut the u in' flavour', probably because Americans don't like English cooking! There must be a hidden reason to all, but I believe the main reason is practicality.... American spelling is easier! ........... what spelling do the Aussies follow?? *wink wink* :)
