It's been my experience that it's more important to be sexy than to be able to dance well.

You don't need to know how to dance to be an exotic dancer, nor be pretty or have a great body...usually only requirement is that you be thin, or at least not more than a few extra pounds and be very personable. The place that hires you will train you on the routine they want you to do.

of course...how can you be an exotic dancer if you don't know how to dance??you must how to dance because dancing is a part of every peoples life and this is your way to enjoy life and this is a very big help when you want to be a exotic dancer...!!! :-P

If you want to be a good one then I would have to say yes. If you can't dance then the whole exotic nature of the dance is lost in your lack of coordination, ability to move to the music etc...if not, as long as you have appealing parts I'm sure your audience may be able to look beyond your inability to dance. Good luck if you're thinking about it.

lol you'd be suprised. You need good balance though, wearing those heels. But here's the thing: you don't have to be a good dancer, you don't have to have big boobs, you don't have to be stick thin, you don't even have to be all that pretty. I've known LOTS of dancers... I worked at a club. Not as a dancer although they tried, I was a "mom". You fetch their crap all night, and help them get ready.

Not a formal form of dancing like the Tango, but you would need to know the proper way to move around stage and how to use the pole.

Just like having sex I suppose..... all the grinding and stuff, need to know how to walk (and look good doing it) in 7 inch see through plastic spikes though.
