I have first -hand knowledge of kidney stones :-( they can be caused by several things.
not drinking enough fluids,
medications you are on,
certain foods with high levels of oxilates,
family genetics,
kidney diseases,
Stones are made of different chemicals...that's why the doctor needs a stone patient to strain their urine thru a strainer ( made for this ) ...they need the stones, or a piece of one to send to the lab; to see what's it's made of. Then they can tell you what not to eat/drink; or change your medications,...
Kidney stones are NO fun ! So follow doctors' orders !

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
