my car is a 1990 and thier was a recall in March of 1990 for a headgasket and come to find out it was never takeing back for the headgasket to be replaced do they still have to replace it now or is it to late?? please Help!!

The only way to know for sure is to call the service department at the dealer and ask. They will need your serial number to tell you whether the gasket is covered or not. They will probably also want to know how many miles are on teh car now since many recalls are limited by time and by distance.

Its only a phone call to ask but I dont think so,that was 16 years ago.If its not giving any trouble,why worry.

no they wont replace it now,,there was a time limit on it,,and it has run out on this one,,if you think it has a problem,,you will have to pay for it,,your self,,sorry for the bad news,,but if its running OK,,i wouldn't worry about it,,just drive it,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.
