a sense of community, that we are all a part of something larger and we're in it together. it makes you wonder why some of us ruin it for everyone else.
a sense of responsibility, or at least there should be. we are all responsible for our behavior toward fellow man and nature. this is the first best reason why there are laws, guidelines, and commandments.
a sense of accomplishment. with so much more yet to come it's silly to rest on our laurels, but it is fun once in a while to look back and see how far we've come from fire and the wheel. all in all, we've done okay!
