I saw some French after the big game and they were pretty cool. Then again, they were surrounded by thousands of Italians

Everyone is different, and I'm sure that some people are less radical than Touzours in terms of their views on the French team and any others associated with them. But, you never know, maybe a lot of them feel the same ways inside.
I know many French personally, too, and they are all very polite and well-mannered. Perhaps when people are on Yahoo! Answers, their actions are quite different than if they were speaking in real life.

I agree with one of the previous answerers: is he even French? He does speak some French, but it sounds like his first language is American English and he lives in the USA. Maybe his family is French or from some French-speaking country, or he's just someone obsessed with Zidane and therefore rooting for France. Whatever the case, he's giving a bad reputation to himself only and to those who support his rants on this forum. And thanks to him and these people, this forum has gotten pathetic. The Italian fans retaliate and it's like a battle camp. According to the French fans, Italians started gloating and they had to react somehow, but I've been on this forum for a couple of months and the Italian bashing was already going on when I joined -- probably as a consequence of the Italy vs Australia match. In fact, the reputation of Italy as "cheaters" comes from that game. Too bad that many forgot that that game was a disgrace from the beginning, when an Italian was red carded for a foul that should have been punished with a yellow card at the most, and in which the Australian player had played his part too. Whatever. Losing a game that way, at the last minute on a penalty, was a shock for all those who supported Australia, and the epithets and slurs began. France wasn't even involved back then.
Maybe we should just boycott his questions. I am sometimes guilty of answering them myself, but it's because I'm sick of his bashing and provoking. He must hate Italians for some reason.
My really French friends have already gotten over it and moved on with their lives, so, at least as far as I am concerned, the reputation of the French is safe.

i think the times of frustation, pain and sorrow for the missed opportunity to celebrate the victory in berlin.are over,i live in quebec and over 5000000 french or french discents lieve here.they respect and admire the italians as we share a very good complicity.people like touzour are not taken into consideration i would say that they would point him out . viva l'italia ,viva la francia, w. this wonderful game of football soccer.

It is clear to everyone the INCOMPETENCE and IGNORANCE about soccer by this individual.
He/she is only one of the few LOSERS left crying about something they'll NEVER get it in the next 4 (four) years: the WORLD CUP.
The majority of the French people accepted the defeat... some LOSERS are still crying. And those are the LOSERS who think the Sept. 6th game is so important!!! Yeah, right! Dream on!
ITALY ---> WORLD CHAMPION (just a reminder for those few LOSERS left, including the BIG LOSER "touzours")

surely, in case you like your nickname and it has a validity previous you surely being a "warm mama", then it is going to no longer count what human beings think of of your nickname. in my opinion i do no longer think of the nickname might supply you a foul popularity, if I observed it i might think of you're a advantageous woman. yet it is in simple terms me and that i'm used to being stereotyped because of the fact of my tattoos. If somebody is so insecure that they are traumatic approximately your popularity as against their very very own existence, they are no longer properly worth traumatic approximately.

well not all Italians are polite either so I dont see why you are talking about him this way. U cant be wrong but you cant be right either, u see, there is no wrong and right, because this is ur opinion. This is the way you think...
If we French think that he is ruining the French reputition, then we will talk to him personally, but it is wrong to bring this up in public like this...
