It really depends, cuz motorcycles can be just as expensive as cars.

Like everyone else said- depends. The new MV Augusta F41000R has an MSRP of $22,980 (must....resisit...........second...morgage.....to....purchase) For that kind of money, you can get a nicely equipped Civic. Of course, the Augusta is ridiciously faster, gets better fuel economy, but lacks A/C, windows, and other normal car stuff. It still has a radio though (that 999cc liquid-cooled Italian 4-cylinder!)
But you can also buy a run-of-the-mill 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 for $8600 and it is stupid fast as well. No car for that price can touch it (used or not).
One of the most expensive bikes is the 1992 Honda NR750 Oval Piston bike, which used a unique 750cc "oval-piston" 32-valve, DOHC liquid-cooled V-4 engine. Because only a handful are known to be in working order, a good condition example can fetch over $145,000.
And of course, you can go pay Matt Hodges (Hot Match) over $250K for a welded peice of steel. Whatever floats your boat.

New, used. You don't mention.
A new sport bike will run you at least $12000. You can buy a new car for the same price. Do you really want to drive an econobox?
Get the bike, use the money you save on gas to get a bad weather beater car and have lots of fun!

It depends on both prices, but usually, bikes are more affordable.
One of the coolest and most expensive bikes you'll find, is the Ducati Desmosedici RR, a street legal track bike, and the cost of it is expected to be around 55k Euro. Compare that with the msrp of a Ferrari F360 Challenge.
So there's your answer.

tough question, but probably the bike because of the insurance. The way around that obstacle would be to buy a cheaper bike and pay cash. if you finance it then insurance will kill you for a bike and if your young then both will be high, but the bike will still probably be at least twice the car.

Depends on each. On another forum, a guy posted a pic of his pickup that costed like 800 bucks to carry his 5,000 bike. But if you see a Ferrari Modena, well, I don't think you can find a bike near THAT price.

You can get an incredible new sports bike for the price of a very plain average used sedan.

depends on the bike and depends on the car
in general, cars cost more than bikes
this should be obvious, the car has everything the bike has plus a lot more stuff
