If you like fried chicken, their Spring Chicken tastes really great. They also offer a lot of other filipino food on their menu such as kare-kare (ox tripe in a peanut based stew), nilagang baka (stewed beef shanks), and others. You should try their fresh lumpia and their caramel tarts for dessert.

I've only tried the fried chicken at Max's Philippines, it's their specialty there. It's pretty good. But, there are also several Max's in California and their food is okay.

it's very good....if you want authentic filipino cuisine...that's the place.... but its known for its whole fried chicken...it is sarap to the bones.
