For me, life is for giving and sharing with the less fortunate. As a result I embrace friends from all sectors of society. There is nothing more fulfilling than feeding a hungry homeless man or providing groceries for a family that has none and believe me as you give you will receive a thousand folds. My pockets are never empty and when I believe that I do not have much I am brought to the realisation that what I have is enough to share. One mans garbage is another mans treasure.
Life is also about sharing knowledge so that is doesn't die with you. Life is about inventions and making a mark on someones life. That's one way to be immortal.
Life is also for loving and being loved....a most wonderful treasure.

The meaning of life? Well, you don't ask for much, do you? To me, it's that you leave this world in just a little bit better shape than you came into it. You are much stronger and more capable than you ever thought that you could be. Use that strength to improve the world as you know it.

The greatest joy in this life is giving God praise for all things He has done for us. That includes http://www.carm.org/doctrine/100truths.htm

Who should praise the Lord and how? It's in the Bible, Psalm 150:1-6, TLB. "Hallelujah! Yes, praise the Lord! Praise Him in His Temple, and in the heavens He made with mighty power. Praise Him for His mighty works. Praise His unequaled greatness. Praise Him with the trumpet and with lute and harp. Praise Him with stringed instruments and horns. Praise Him with the cymbals, yes, loud clanging cymbals. Let everything alive give praise to the Lord! You praise Him! Hallelujah!"

The meaning of life is one thing simply: to help others find the meaning of life.

To me the meaning of life is servanthood. No not like as in slavery, but as in helping your fellow man (person for the politcally correct).

I am so much more at peace with myself when I am helping others.

To live. Explore, learn, teach, discover, invent, observe, FEEL, see,.... just no way I could finish a list like that.
After taking a philosophy class this summer, ... it seems like a god school ... I think.

life is a word. by itself, unless you mean its definition, it has no "meaning". That sentence is semantically useless. If we try to be more explicit in our question, we will stand a better chance of coming up with fruitful answers.
