Something to do with the web sites that you visit. Check your cookies and delete all those that you don't need. Then change your setting to prompt for all cookies being requested. Reject all those that are not familiar or don't relate to the site that you visit.
In the case of the 49.99 site, look for the name in the cookies and you should see it sitting in there. Delete it and put a permanent block in your cookie setting.
Cookie settings can be done at "Tools" - "Internet Options" - "Temporary Internet Files" - "Settings".
Hope this helps.

There are a lot of things you can try:
- installing antispyware utilities like Lavasoft's Ad-aware, Spybot, Pest Patrol, etc.
- running antivirus utilities from Norton or AVG (which is free)
- using "msconfig" (search for more info) to remove crap that's starting with Windows - beware that serious infections will replace whatever you remove.
It sounds like a lot of work, because it is. Spyware can be a nasty thing to get rid of, and just when you think it's gone, it's back. The easiest thing for you to do after a virus scan is to back all your personal data up, format the hard drive, and do a clean install of Windows. Although it's tedious, it might be the quickest option out there that you know is going to work.
If you go this route, be sure to use a program like Acronis TrueImage or Norton's Ghost to make backups every few weeks. That way if this happens again, you have a recent backup you can restore from to save time. You should also take a hard look at how you're spending your time online. Downloading from or surfing at shady websites could be the reason for all the infections you're getting. If the software is free, be sure you really need it before you install it. A lot of "free" software comes embedded with spyware that it doesn't tell you about...

Run a Virus scan, and download an anti-adware program, like Ad-Aware, and do a full spyware scan.

Some people have suggested running anti-virus scans, also run anti-spyware scans, using a program such as ad-aware or spybot.
