I met someone last saturday at a friends show. Turns out he works for the same company I do. We spent the whole night close, knees touching, drinking, talking laughing, I even played with his hair a little bit for whatever reason..you know..drunk talk/actions...

He left early and we all headed out to a friends party.

I emailed him the following thursday and they have been fun open ended emails i.e. : it was nice to meet you too, how are you? hows your weekend? blah blah blah

we've emailed friday as well, then I emailed him late last night around 11 b/c I knew he was still up working. He was nice but he seemed distracted, so I sent him a "sorry for bothering you, I know ur working", then he replied "no worries, I'm going to be up until 2am, I'm underwater with work right now" I said goodnight and he said sleep well.

I know that he's not aggressive with women and kind of shy. Do you think I've done enough to give him the green light? Or wait until he emails me now?

I also want to know if he's just not into me. He'll send me cute things in his emails like "i'll come by and wake you up" when he knows I'm tired. He also remembers things that I had planned. When we emailed last night, he remembered that I was going to laundry on Friday... it was cute.

It is your lucky day! I think you are approaching him just fine. You don't seem too pushy and you are playing it light. If he is working and you are bothering him, he will seem distracted, but he's working! You did the right thing by not bugging him during his work. After you send a couple more open ended emails, feel free to open the door further by asking him if he'd like to go to dinner with you. Tell him that you know it wouldn't be a date, but just dinner with friends. If he responds positively to that, he is interested!!! If he is too shy to make the next move, don't be hesitant to make it for him. Don't push him or he might get scared. Take it slow. Who knows, you may have more experience than he does, and may have to make all the moves to keep the relationship going. Don't give up. Be polite, Good Luck
