Yes, I'm in Volusia and theres nothing really we can do but wait it out. Atleast it isn't another Charlie or Francis.

As a matter of fact I am. I live in Orlando, the east side. The map shows it coming right along the coastline. We live 35 miles from the coast and that thing may just hit us directly. It only takes a fraction of a movement to move it over.
I am not that scared, this one seems a lot milder than Charley was in 04. I own a trash hauling company, I am not wishing for damage, but this thing may make us a lot of money? But I don't thnk so, I think it will be mild.

Yes we were in the path. Winds now at 45mph.
The eye is 10 miles to the West of us right now.
and my boat is full of water. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

No, thank goodness. I was in the path of Rita last year, and I don't relish another brush with disaster like that.

The good people of Florida are deluged with hurricane disasters frequently.

Yes. I'm going to ride it out. I have gone thru 3 major hurricanes in Florida. This one won't be a major one.

yes we live in the projected path here in southcarolina. we won't do anything special because we are far inland, although hurricane hugo ripped our roof off
