You have edema which is a fancy word for swelling. You need to go see a doctor. It is probably a mild condition that can be treated with medications, but don't take it lightly- go see a doctor! It could be the start of some underlying issues that need attention, and it could be caused just from standing up all day. See your physician!

Fluid retention...decrease salt intake (including salty foods), keep feet elevated when in bed or sitting. If the problem persists, see your doctor about diuretics (meds to help with the fluid retention)

You sound like you need to see a doctor. Are you pregnant, working out, standing a lot, or gaining weight? Some of these things can contribute to pain and swelling, but get it checked out.

ok,,,,,,your doctor would best know the answer. the doc would probably use the word "edema" which describes your left leg. I'm not really sure of what that is right now. Just go see your doctor is my suggestion

Could be a number of ailments: poor circulation, diabetes, too much sodium (salt) in your diet, etc. Please see your doctor asap. Good luck!
