ok first i know where your coming from because me and my friends all liked the same guy, we turned it into a fun thing, like "he talked to me today" and id reply "he liiikes you" lol or "lets go stare at him" u know make it fun like something you have in common...well NEwayz my friends and i have always had or try to have an open friendship, we'd talk on the phone and be like wouldnt it be great for him to go out with one of us??? and stuff, we NEVER let jealousy get in the way, it was like if he picks you then im GLAD its you and not some other girl lol, but you really have to realize that not all guys are gonna feel the same way your feeling about them... and make it a win win situation. dont get to attached to your crush, for all you know he may be crushing on another girl... so keep your friends close, dont let any guy get in between you both, just tell her "im starting to like him to..." see how she reacts, hopefully she'll understand... remember "MY GIRLS ARE FOREVER, GUYS ARE WHATEVER, WHEN IT COMES TO THE WORST, MY GIRLS COME FIRST" dont let him interfere with a strong friendship!

Do you both know you like the same guy and are you talking about doing anything about it? If both of you like him it doesn't really mean anything except a chance to revel in your crush together (bonding time). The real question is, does one of you plan on dating him or pursuing a relationship?

If that's the case and your friendship is a higher priority that this guy.... sit down and talk about it. Ask her if its okay or not. If both of you decide that its better not to pursue it, then don't.

When I was a teenager, both my friend and I had a crush on the same boy (actually - I think every girl had a crush on him). She ended up dating him (I actually helped set them up of all things), and it was great - since I later found out I would've hated dating him, but loved being his friend. And I did get a great chance to become friends with him since we hung out all the time.

If you like your friend - don't make her your enemy over a guy. Its not worth it. More than likely (although not always) he won't be around in a few years.

Good luck!

Help your friend get the guy because there are lots of guys that you will like in life but you while never get a lot of true friends.

if you are a true friend you will allow nothing to come before your friendship. cause who's to say this guy is a dog or not? would you lose a friend for that?

How good's the friendship?
Either talk it out or both of you leave him alone.
If you're not willing to do one of the two, the friendship isn't worth squat anyway.
