Hey ,can anyone please help?
My ADSL is slow in a complicated for me way.Although any downloads from my Internet Provider's server are very fast when it comes to downloads from other servers(eg from MSN or Yousendit or loading pages or P2P) is very very very slow.What can i do for this? Thank you

Thank you all for the answers...Here is some more details.

I have a 768/192 connection in Greece.
Thing is that at my office the DSL speed is excellent and i can download EVERYTHING very fast ,the same doesnt happen to my home pc.I have an adsl modem.

i checked my speed from the links you gave me and it gives me only 67 download and 156 upload.For my type of connection the upload speed is good enough ,on the other hand the download speed is extremely bad

goto http://nyc.speakeasy.net and check your speed. dsl should be 1000 to 1500 download, and 360 upload.

The speed depends on the source, as you've realized. Not every server out there will provide you download speeds at your max potential for a lot of different reasons. There could be a lot of traffic on that server, perhaps it has a cap limit that it imposes to preserve bandwidth, etc.

We would have to know more about your DSL connection and the type of speeds your getting to give you a more specific answer..

What speeds are you expecting? Go to dslreports.com and run their speedtests. There is also some tweaks they describe which can help your speed.

it could be your browser. Bc you internet is not slow. Or maby your computer needs a tune up
