What did that baby do to deserve being murdered? God gives life, so people should not terminate life. Think again.

Girl, chill out. Not all Christians are like that. You're talking about Catholics, not Christians. Anyway, I believe that if a life is meant to be taken, then it should be taken by God. It's not the child's fault that the person who did the rape was a jerk. I was watching Montel and I saw a woman who was raped by her father and she had a child, and gave it up for adoption. The child had a wonderful childhood, and had no mental problems. No matter what people say, I see abortion as murdering little babies. It's just what it is. One day, people in the future are going to think we are crazy for killing babies. I'm a Christian, and it has nothing to do with me being a Christian, I just feel that it's disgusting to kill a baby. Don't be so judgemental, why didn't you appoint this question to everyone who feels that way? Why are you just pinpointing Christians as if we think that way any more than a lot of people? People who think that Christians commit every wrong in the world irritate me, sorry. But anyway, I just dropped off my views. Abortion is murder, plainly put. I can definitely understand if someone is raped and they have an abortion, they don't want to deal with that. But I don't have to think it's right.
Peace.

I myself am not a Christian, and I don't support Abortion. I do concede to a few situations, but for the most part think it's a horrible and often selfish decision.
I do support it should the mother's life be in danger from having the child, and also in extreme cases such as 11 or 12 year olds that were raped.
I do sympathize for women who are raped and become pregnant, but this is really rare, as the body usually becomes so stressed so as to abort the pregnancy itself from that trauma. If this does happen, I'd highly reccomend giving the baby up for adoption after birthing it.
The same goes for women who just mess up and get pregnant. If you really don't want it, don't just kill an innocent child because of a mistake (yes, I believe in life at conception). Give it up for adoption and let someone who can't concieve have a chance at parenthood.

I believe that abortion is a perfectly okay thing to do. If a girl gets pregnant, say around the age of 15 or so, all by accident, what else is she supposed to do? She's a child herself, still in school, unable to care for a child. Most likely the father will not take responsibility for his actions, and having a child so young will ruin the girl's life. Therefore, the child would be hated it's entire life. Hated by it's mother, disowned by it's father, hated by it's grandparents for ruining their daughter's life. It will grow up miserable and alone, most likely to just take its own life or kill others. If abortion were to be banned, this child would suffer for years.
Also, Abortion is not murder.Technically, the embryo/fetus is not a child until it takes its first breath after being born. With the first breath after birth, the system changes suddenly. The pulmonary resistance is dramatically reduced. More blood moves from the right atrium to the right ventricle and into the pulmonary arteries, and less flows through the foramen ovale to the left atrium. The blood from the lungs travels through the pulmonary veins to the left atrium, increasing the pressure there. The decreased right atrial pressure and the increased left atrial pressure pushes the septum primum against the septum secundum, closing the foramen ovale, which now becomes the fosse ovalis. This completes the separation of the circulatory system into two halves, the left and the right.
The ductus arteriosus normally closes off within one or two days of birth, leaving behind the ligamentum arteriosum. The umbilical vein and the ductus venosus closes off within two to five days after birth, leaving behind the ligamentum teres and the ligamentum venosus of the liver respectively. As you can see, fetuses are not even completely developed until they take their first breath.
Early-term surgical abortion is a simple procedure. When performed before the 16th week by competent doctors — or, in some states, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician assistants — it is safer than childbirth.
In the United Kingdom, the number of deaths due to legal abortion between the years of 1991 and 1993 was 5, as compared to the 9 deaths caused by ectopic pregnancy during the same time frame. In the United States, during the year 1999, there were 4 deaths due to legal abortion, 10 due to miscarriage, and 525 due to pregnancy-related reasons.
All in all, Abortion is better for everyone. The girl has less of a chance of dying, a child will not have to suffer through a lifetime of not being wanted, and our world will not be extremely overpopulated.

Rape, child abuse, and the murder of born children are all "choices," too. No one should have the "choice" to murder another innocent person. Have an open mind and take a look at:

I feel abortion is acceptable in situations of rape, incest, health problems. The problem that I see with it is that far too many women are using this as a means of birth control. There is no excuse in this world for an unwanted pregnacy.

Try telling any rape or incest victim no matter what age to carry a child for nine months and think that they won't relive that one moment everyday. Sometimes abortions saves the lives of the one on the table. It can take a long time for them to heal, why add to it. And for those that have choose their life over their child. Well I tried making it.

I am against abortion if it's used as a method of birth control when girls or women are too lazy to get on the pill. I do agree with you, though, when it comes to the incest and rape cases.

No matter how you look at it, it's murder.
So, unless it's to save the mother's life... it's still killing an innocent baby.
Perhaps if you don't want to have a baby, you should learn to keep your legs crossed.
As far as incest, the fathers should be thrown in jail for life, but don't take it out on an innocent baby.

Rape is certainly one thing, but too many people have abortions just because they don't want to deal with it. If you don't want to be pregnant, either tell your guy to slap on a condom, or just plain don't have sex, cold turkey. It's really not that hard.
How would you like it if YOUR mom wanted to have an abortion?

I can't even determine what your question is?? It looks as though you are only stating your opinions to several different scenarios. No body is trying to sway your opinion.
