F=GM1M2/R^2 for gravity
a^3=P^2 for period

This is what we used to call a "plug and crank" problem. You just plug the values into the formula and crank out the answer on a calculator.

use "a" as the radius or semimajor axis

To get speed, determine the distance the planet travels in its orbit (you remember how to calculate a circumfrence don't you?) and divide by the time it takes to make that orbit.

round 8 minutes. i do not understand the precise figure, yet our orbital speed is about 60,000 MPH, and Earth is about 8,000 miles in diameter, so it extremely works out to at least something like 8 minutes to flow 8,000 miles.

Hi. High school physics class, eh? You have the formula, just plug in the values.
