my friend said that if your house is buring down and you have a fish then you should flush it down the toilet so that it doesn't die in pain and also that it can live in the sewer. but if it was down in the sewer wouldn't it be unhappy? and because the sewer has so much germs in it wouldn't it still die?

If you can't take it with you it might be more humane

but NO it will not live through the flushing. First, moving a fish from one type of water to another rapidly can kill it due to shock. If for some reason it lives the swirling and pressure motion of the water could also kill it.

And it cannot possibly live in feces and urine and whatever else will be present in the sewer.

sorry gurl but either way it'll die whether u flush it down the toilet into the sewer it'll die becuz of chemicals and the change in water temperature will put it into shock. If you leave it in the burning house it'll die from the lack of oxygen. Just take the little fishie and run out the house!! and thank whoever u worship that ur alive!!

first off nothing can live in the sewers. flushing the toliet doesnt lead to the sewers exactly. it usually leads to a place where they clean the water with cloride, this will kill the fish anyway. now if your fish is indeed ina burning house, the water might protect it, it may not. all animals need oxygen so any animal will die either way. you could always get it out intoa bowl and bring it out of the house with you. dont flush it down the toliet unless its already dead

My fish are in a tank, and I realize that I should get out of the house before them. Don't flush them down the toilet, they'd have liked to go down in bravery and whatnot. Fish are like us, only unfortunate to have been born into fishy form. I don't see why people like to poke fun at them so much, these creatures could've been born their children! Don't worry about the fish, just try not to light huge fires or anything, and always keep a fire extinguisher close at hand.

lay of the sauce .
sewers always lead to open water where the gold fish would be ecstatic if it survived the trip in the dark tunnels full of crocodiles that people have also flushed down the toilets

delirious with happiness to have escaped stupid humans who do not realize that gold fish are carp that can grow to be almost half a meter if they are free in a big pond

germans or germs are only harmfull to people ,they do not harm goldfish

so rest asured .you can relax and have another toke now.

If it is a goldfish and in a small bowl, then it would be quicker to take the bowl with you when you leave the house.

If it is in a large tank, then I would recommend you leave it there and get out of the house yourself. A gold fish is not worth potentially losing your life.

If you flush the fish, it will die. It cannot live in the sewer.

The key thought here is YOU get out of the house. Don't worry about the gold fish!

You should take it with you. If you have time to flush it, you should have time to walk out the door with it.

You could stick it with a tree branch and kill it instantly, then hold it over the house fire for a quick snack, while your waiting for the red cross to bring you a hotel voucher.

It would be unhappy in the sewer.

if you have time to flush the fish - you have time to take it with you...either way I doubt you will be too concerned about a fish when the time comes.

Dont worry, the fish will not hold it against you.

The fish would definitely die in the toilet, sewer, and treatment plant.

Why wouldn't you take your fish with you from the fire?? And no flushing them down the toilet is juz as painful if the fish is alive. The pressure from the water in the toilet causes the fish to burst from the inside out eg their eyes buldge out of thier sockets as so forth. only flush dead fish down the toilet!!! sorry if i upset you further hunny.

You know, I can only imagine what you might be smokin' but whatever it is, damn package it and make millions! You and your friend really don't have **** going on in your lives but to sit and imagine when your house is burning down, what will happen to the fish... Just a reminder, if you don't get your own *** out, it won't really matter what will happen to them because you won't be here anyway. I suggest that you give the fish away now 'cause what you smokin' may cause you to set it on fire. Hurry up and get into rehab!
