If you look at your toolbar, from left to right, you have the Y! logo, then a small pencil icon, then the search bar and so forth.
Left click the pencil icon. Select clear recent searches. This will clear the drop down search bar of any and all search terms present.

Click on the down arrow to the right of the slanted pencil. Pencil is second icon from the left on the toolbar. Click on "Clear Search History." All done!

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.
You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.
To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.

In the internet explore
Goto TOOL->Intertnet option
select "content tab"then select AutoComplete then clear form
it will delete all content in the tempory area

Highlight what you want to delete and press 'Ctrl' and then 'Delete'.
