I read about dry skin brushing some time ago and have been doing it since. I have not had a pimple since I started. The bumps on my upper arms (chicken skin) is gone-it's like a baby's skin. I understand that it's good for the lymphatic system. It also helps me poop regularly.
Here's what I do;
First thing in the morning, before I hop in the shower I take a natural bristle brush-I bought for $10 and I brush the sole of my foot toes to heel, then the calf from the ankle up(all the way around), then my thigh, then the other leg. Also brushing firmly but gently and the strokes are as long as the body part (ie one stroke from ankle to knee) Then I brush the front and back of my hand, then up to the neck, then from my neck to my boobs (but not my nipples-that hurts) then I brush my tummy in light circular motion. Then hit the shower.
It's cheap and it feels good. Do it.

Its supposed to be good for cellulite and for circulation. Get a dry brush (From WalMart or from the Health Food Store), start with feet, and brush upwards, to the heart. Go over every inch of your body, brush softly, with strokes ending up at your heart.

You were not specific enough in your question. However I automatically ascertained that you meant hair brushing. Dry brushing acts as a way to distribute the scalps natural oils. Other than making the hair softer, and most likely oilier it really has no other health benefits.

Yes circular is fine. The benefits are you get rid of dead cells and your skin "breathes" and gets softer and more healthy this way.
