1.not at my school...that's just asking to getting suspended, but it happens from time to time
2. not in my community...too many nosey people, that will call the cops in a heartbeat...suburbs tend to be like that...
3. no, i had other engagements...like watching Spongebob and playing every final fantasy game ever made.
4. Yes, I've never done it, but I know people who know people who know people who have
5. Depends on how bad it is. Gang symbols should definitely be covered, but actual ART should be able to stay, if it's in an apprpriate place, that is.
6. I didn't feel like play Final Fantasy VII-X2, nothing on TV, and I forgot how to read a Sims 2 story.
7. They do enough at mine...all of those cameras, people don't try too much.
8. Sure! (like I'd know)

do you think graffiti is a problem at schools?---have seen a few schools in DC area and Baltimore that looked really bad

do you think graffiti is a problem in the communty?---yes--makes things look bad; increases the feeling of "I can do anything I want to do and no one can stop me"

Have you ever done graffiti?---did a little pencilling on desks when in high school, but not much---the English teacher actually noticed the comments we were writing hour-to-hour, smiled at our teenaged worldweary cynicisms, and next day attached a small notebook to the desk, labelled "graffiti book"---no, I'm NOT kidding!

Do you think vandalism in general is a problem at school?--compared to what?--drugs? Pregnancy and dropout rates? Poor literacy skills at graduation? This question is too vague by itself.

Do you think that it is better to cover graffiti with a mural or just leave it?--I've heard that murals are great PREVENTION techniques for cutting down graffiti, and would like to see more of them in use. But I'm not sure whether they're going to completely deter serious gang "taggers".

What are some reasons that may make you do graffiti?---Gangs will tag to mark territory. A lot of the casual graffiti seems to be just boredom and general dumbness.

Do you think schools do enough to prevent graffiti?---I have no knowledge of what the schools are doing; sorry.

Do u think that schools would benefit with less graffiti?--Kind of an obvious statement here.....Turn it around...."Does graffiti BENEFIT a school in any way?" No? *Hello*

Good luck on your project!

Graffiti is a problem because a lot of students don't have respect of property--especially in bathrooms.

Not as much in my community, but I live in an East Texas metro area.

I have never

I don't think vandalism is a top problem.

I would love to see it covered up with real art.

I wouldn't

Well, you can't really stop students from writing in the bathroom, except for at my school the teachers don't let the students go very often.

I don't know.

If authoritive figures don't want it there, it is, but it can also be art. I don't know about the community. It's not where I live. No, I haven't. Not really. Mural it! Art is the best ever, and an amazing expression. Besides, it makes something of that which others spent time on. Art. We don't ever have it, so I don't know. It gives us something to look at as long as it's not vulgar or rude.
