I don't even know what to say to this. Being gay is not the only aspect of my life. I am who I am. I do all the same things straight people do like work and go out and go grocery shopping and pay bills etc. Being gay has shaped me into the person I am today but that doesn't mean I drive a Jetta with a rainbow sticker on the back of it. I'm a normal guy, I like sports, cars, all that good stuff. In fact the few people who know I'm gay were a little surprised by it because I don't fit the stereotype but they've been really supportive

Wow, that's really a broad question. I'm happy, if that matters.
I have a job just like a lot of straight people, I own a house, go to church, shop at the mall, all that stuff. I guess it's a little different in that I know that there are places I go and people I meet where I would not be accepted were I known to be gay, so in those situations, I keep my mouth shut about my sexuality. I haven't lied to anyone about being gay since I was very young, and was still busy lying to myself, but I don't always give the appearance of being gay, so sometimes the less said the better.

What's it like to be a straight man. It is pretty much the same, except you have people who want to kill you for loving someone.

Pretty much the same as it is to be a man except for whom it is you go home to at night. You know they want to be with you, and you aren't just staying together for "the kids".

It is my normal state of being. I really don't think it is different from heterosexuals, except that we have more to overcome in society. It is a great gift to accept one's self and to move past bigotry, so I certainly have no remorse about the gifts I have been given.
