She is grossly overweight and probably can't reach down there to wipe.

Just look around and yell..."Jeeeeeeeeeeezus H. Chrrrrrrrrist! Does anyone else smell that rotten funk in here?" Then stare right at her lap and say with disgust all over your face, "Holy Sh*t, (name), what did you douche with, Eau de Carp????"

One time ought to do it, doncha think?

Do other people notice this, too? If so, get someone to support you and then go to your boss (in confidence) and discuss the situation.

We had two situations where I worked, where people were "smelly". An overweight, older woman (who wore a badly-fitted wig) had the same odor that you describe. But the worst was a younger guy who rode his bike to work every day (while dressed in a suit & tie). He didn't realize he had a bad problem with body odor, and people were getting sick of it. They went to the boss, and a staff meeting was held. Cecil was quiet embarrassed over it, and his personal hygiene immediately improved.

So, talk to your boss, but get someone else to go with you if you can. Strength in numbers, that sort of thing. And good luck.

Your coworker probably has an infection that needs to be dealt with. You, as a coworker, cannot tell her anything or she can claim she is working in a hostile environment and sue the company. Your boss or someone in the HR department MUST be the one to handle this by insisting that she sees a doctor for her problem and cannot return without a work release.

I tried to think of a polite way to bring that to her attn. but I guess their isn't such way. I recommend you just start making funny statements pertaining to that every time she gets up. Eventually shell catch that the joke is on her.

maybe you could suggest to her that sometimes you just don't feel fresh. then tell her you can't wait to get home and (fill in blanks using your own hygiene regimen). then ask her "do you ever feel that way?"

this way you're making it about you, not her, so hopefully she won't be offended. she might take the hint.

there was this guy I worked with who alwasy grabbed his crotch. one of my co workers talked to the boss who was amle, adn asked him to speak with him. He said he had no idea he was actually grabbing himself. (he did it every 2 minutes at least)

Just mention somethign to her, think of how bad you would feel if it was you. I'm sure she doesn't realize it.
