Do not be tense about growing up. You will notice many changes in you , but your friends might be going through them too. Growing up is both a physical and mental thing, and you should not worry about anything at all but be careful when following your same age friends' suggestions. Sometimes, they might be somewhat disinformed. Great sources to check are medical encyclopedias about puberty and your teachers and counselors. Do not believe what many other teenagers say because sometimes they might be bragging about something they really have not read much about.

Well if you are not comfortable about talking to the one expert in your family that has gone through what you are going through now, who else would you talk to about the fact of growing up into a woman. Look, the parents have a few jobs and responsibilities as parents to their kids. One of them is telling their girls about growing up into a woman. Your mom is most likely just as scared, about this as you are. I am talking about the facts of life, dating , sex, when you should have it, your feelings, what is going to happen at this age and things like that. My friend, if not your mom then an older person that has experienced all that you will be going through. I hope you find someone you can open up to on here, but your mom is the one that really loves you. You can get the strait scoop and facts from her. It will also bring you two closer together for life. It is a hard time you are going through now, in this time of uncertainity and your bodies changes and your feelings. Believe it or not your mom has gone through it all before you. She has had all the questions about womanhood as you have right now. Let her share her lifes experiences with you and tell you how she handled it for the most part. Just ask the question the right way. Start the conversation with your feeling as opposed to "Hey Mom, when was the first time you had sex" , if you tell her about your feelings and how your feeling now, she will be more receptive to tell you more about her teenager life and how she survived it. Good Luck

Do a google search for a site called "scarlet teen" this explains all the important things. You can order a book on growing up form amazon.com - get your mother to buy this if she can't explain things herself.
Your gym teacher should tell you at school at some point soon.

There is nothing you can learn about being a woman. You just grow and mature and one day you're there. You'll ask yourself when this happened and how. There are no answers. Just relax and let God and nature take it's course. You'll do fine.

Everything you will need to learn will come naturally. I didn't have a mother to teach me anything & i think i am ok. You will learn patience, tenderness, and the joy of going to bed at night.
