I dated my husband for 7 months, and I got married, because there's this special feeling that I can't describe whenever I'm with him, never felt this way with anyone else I dated. So I was wondering if you felt the same way also with the person you're married to.

Five months, but then we are older adults, not kids starting out.

Plus we were neighbors when we were teenagers! I dated his older brother, so I got to know DB as my boyfriend's kid brother. So he wasn't a total stranger when we met up as age 40 something adults! He improved with age.

We re-discovered each other on an internet dating site quite by accident (?!?!?!?) and met for dinner one night in late September 2000. We picked up the conversation like it had only been a few months since we had last met. We had chemistry. I was totally shocked as I drove home after dinner. I found the former scrawny, rat faced goofy kid had grown up to be a very attractive man!

We've been married 5 1/2 years.

lets see, I met her in fall of 1978 but we didn't date until nearly spring

then I left for the summer and when I came back in the fall, we started dating exclusively

seven months later we got engaged

after 5 months I believed it was the right thing but I was chicken
I bought an engagement ring and carried it in my pocket on dates and everything for two months

we were married 5 months later, 2 years after we met, 1 year after we started really dating

so, I'd say yes, it was unique with her

we have been married 25 years and have 5 grown children and a grandchild, it is still unique with her

we were in high school when we started to date, so we dated for 7 years before we got married. But we knew EVERYTHING about one another, the good and the bad. That makes a happy marriage.

My second husband and I met about a week after my divorce from my first husband was final. We dated for three years before we got married and we have been married for 13 years. Oh, did I also mention that he was my one and only blind date!

Let's see... we met the last day of January, started dating in the middle of March, moved in together in early May, and married in early November. We're coming up on eight years of marriage, and have never been happier. Hope the same holds true for you!
