In the African diaspora there is a group called the Mamisis who are followers of the Mermaid Goddess Mami Wata. Most of the male followers are gay and they traditionally dress like women as an expression of their spirituality and devotion to their Goddess. I think it is perfectly fine as we all have aspects of the masculine and the feminine within us.

No, they aren't even really accepted in Gay culture, a lot of gays think they are goofballs.
I am open minded, but I admit its a pretty silly thing to do. You have a lot of staight guys who are into it.
My wife, for whatever reason is friends with 3 transvestites. Those people are like sad, lost souls. All messed up, with the exception of one of them, who is happy and well adjusted.
I think they will always be a minute percentage of the population who won't have a place to call their own. Though the taboo of it may draw many men into it.
It would be a death sentence if you did that in the Middle East.
Though, I will say, it is considered humorous in England, and that is where it may be somewhat accepted come to think of it.

i wager it can be because apparently extra awkward for a guy to placed on a gown then it really is for a lady to placed on says denims and proper, because mens clothing is extremely resembling a pair womans clothing. clothing are made for curves or small frames, were men have sq.-ish body shapes? and that i wager that entire "more advantageous" element, that the different guy stated. And even as human beings see a guy flow dressing they purely immediately assume he's gay, and homophobia is gigantic and in no way familiar contained in the church, and that i dont study about you, yet I stay in a united states of america very nearly ruled through the church.
