War was perhaps what man kind is built on. It has inspired brains, exposed true evil, exposes true hero's, showed triumph when all others have failed.
Of course it is death destruction and man would be better off without it. Unfortunately others don't see this. This is why warfare must be acknowledged, understood, revealed learned and mastered.
Violence in itself is useless, but in a world that uses it some times at first resort engaging it, can lead to peace. The Roman empire, the Vikings, the English empire the Nazi's, the Japanese, **** even the USA have all been engaged to provide peace.

I'm no war fan, but you could argue World War II helped prevent the complete genocide of all the Jews in Europe. But our more recent wars are all about natural resources or nothing, much more useless.

It also gives the liberal media plenty of stuff to rag on.
Lets face it. If there wasn't a war going on, what would people have to gripe about?
Besides, we are not at war at the moment. Our troops in Iraq are there with the support of the Iraqi gov. We are helping them try to stop the insurgents who want to rid the country of a certain group of Iraqis.
