there is a breather line that runs from the case to the carborater (S&S) it sprays oil out a good ways, doesnt trickle out pumps it out. what is wrong.

The oil filter/ cam gear housing has a diaphram in it connected to a breather line which connects to the breather on the carb. This is used to burn up any uncombusted fuel that may have ended up in the crank case. Your problem could be in the diaphram. Hope this helps you out.

Either there is a problem not letting oil back to the tank or the engine has worn piston rings causing to much blow by Good Luck old HD

do compression test, maybe a bad set of rings.
