I don't think you can compare those two, they are two different types of comedy. Farely had a goofy, crazy type of comedy. While John Candy was a little more witty, and situationally funny. They were both greats and we lost them both way before their time.

I enjoyed John Candy more, really. But Chris Farley had a wacky energy that can't be denied. I just don't go in for slapstick so much, or Farley's type of humor. Candy had a believability about him that made you laugh and feel for him at the same time, and I enjoyed that.

I liked John Candy better. Chris was funny, but he could be annoying......
