My virus programs claim it doesn't exist & I get the same answer from Microsoft. This insidious little bug keeps trying to force me to security software sights, when all my stuff checks out fine. When I try to delete it or trace the source it starts crashing my entire system . I've had to reboot from scratch 3 times this month ! Please help..

Your searching for virus when your problem is spyware/malware. Download a good spyware program and scan. Virus programs ONLY seek viruses and Spyware progs only remove spyware/adverts like the one you have.

Spybot Seek and Destroy is a good start and it's free.

Cleaning your computer.

Clean your Browser Cache:

Tools>Internet Options>General tab>Delete Cookies, Files (be sure to check the box for Delet Offline Content in the window that appears) and Clear History buttons.

Go to the Sites button by Temp. Files and change the number to 50.

Checkyour HD for Defragmenting:

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools> Disk Defragmenter.

Clear Temp. Windows Files:

Exit all running programs, including Browser, except your AV and AS programs. Exiting these might be necessary later (not usually).

Start>Run> type "%temp%" (no quotes)>OK>In the menu bar "Edit" click Select All>in the expanded menu select Delete or right click on the pane with the files highlighted and select Delete. When finished Close window.

Clear clutter in DSL modem (If used) and RAM:

Turn off the modem, computer and monitor in this order. Wait a minute or two and then restart in reverse order. Turning off he computer clears the RAM of clutter.

unplug your modem for 80 seconds and plug it back in. Its likely finding a conflict with another machine or the server at the DSPs end is giving out the same IP to more than one customer.
