I wear them because my boyfriend really loves my feet & legs in them though they do look a little clunky but, they are comfortable to walk in and, anything to please him. I have a pair in 3inches and a really huge pair with a 5 inch platform with zebra skin straps. I refuse to wear those "Dyke sandals" Birkenstocks.
They look cool 2-3 years ago but, do you think platform thongs are just out of style and the little cheap thin flip flops are back?

first of all, this question threw me off until i realized you were talking about shoes! are they really called THONGS?? and I believe if it makes you happy & your boy happy, why do you care whats "in"? Come on, be an original.

I bought a pair for my wife the same 5 inch platform thongs off of Ebay and, she looks sexy in them though, she appears much taller than me but, who cares she happy that I'm happy seeing her turn heads.
I hope platform thongs and heels never fade

I love me some platform thongs they r so cool ... so it doesn't matter if they're stylish or not I look hot in them and guys find e hot in them whenever i wear them i get lots of hollas ... ps gurl keep your man happy if he likes them then do what u do. God bless.

I have a foot fetish and I think they're sexy. So long as you and your guy are happy who care what the jealous bitties think. Do your own thing and tell everyone else to **** off. The stupid trendies ruin everything anyway.

I do. They'r still in fashion in my country. But must warn u - doctors don't encourage it. Can b a danger if u fall n twist yr ankle. Also, can cause "foot" problems in future ......

i wear them with only some out fits you could tell him that they only go with some out-fits anf ask if you can wear them with only those out-fits
