Get your parents to get you a copy of "Our Bodies, Ourselves". This is a really classic book that will be great for you to use for years and years to come. It's pretty detailed, and part of the going may be a little heavy, though, so, here's also a couple of great sites for you to check out:
www.kidshealth.org
www.youngwomenshealth.org
www.coolnurse.com
There's lots of good links there. The Internet can have some good information available, but there's a lot of turkeys online also. When you're checking out sites, ones that are marked
.gov (government)
.edu (education)
.org (organization)
are MORE LIKELY to be reliable, as a *real* general rule, when you're first surfing.
If you have a school nurse, she/he can also be a resource. So can your local county or city health department.
Take care!

Ok...you are going through some changes now.
1. your hormones are racing and that's normal...you don't need to act on every impulse you get.
2. Your body is going to physically change...ie breasts, widening of the hips, hair on the genitals, under arm, arms/legs etc. is all to be expected. Shaving your under arm and legs might give you some level of comfort.
3. If you haven't had a period by now then you will pretty soon. Try and find a woman whom you trust (not your friends) and ask for some guidance. Or seek out some books and educate yourself. Having a period means you are now capable of getting pregnant. Again...seek out a trusted woman (not friends) or get some books and read about your body..
The most important thing you can do is use good judgment. Think before you act and speak because at this age you tend to become impulsive in the things you do.
Boys are going to begin giving you more sexual attention....again..use good judgment. It's ok to let them admire you..it's not ok to let them talk you into anything you are not comfortable doing. You are growing up and you should realize that you are a diamond...and diamonds are a rare and precious jewel. Take care of yourself and be safe!

Aw, sweetie, that's a conversation you really need to have w/ your mom, close aunt, or grandmother.
Why don't you go to WebMD and search "menstruation" and at least learn it from a physiological standpoint.
