How about abortion? Most people take the argument that it is a woman's choice. Well it is not. If a female has sex, then she can get pregnant. That is the birds and the bees. The problem is not sex, but behavior.

You have people who will die from the pregnancy. Is abortion ok? I would think so in that case.

Then you have grayer areas such as rape and incest.

Then you have people who have sex and do not want to live with the consequences. By allowing these people to have an abortion, society is allowing them to escape responsiblity.

We also have a serious lack of respect for life. Look at the Frankenstein problem. I see so many teenagers with rings all over their body. They dress like satanists. Some will say that is the style. They will put themselves behind the 8 ball. Employers will not want to hire them.

The crazy thing is I am not even 30. I did not grow up in a religous home. I spend a lot of time around people who dress like I speak about above.

Controversy exists because humanity exists. We're all different; we all have different life-experiences, upbringings, philosophies, creeds, educations, etc. We all see the same circumstances through our individual filters. Rather than immersing ourselves in the circumstance so as to understand and empathize, thereby finding the very means to a solution, we all stand on the outside looking in...judging, commenting, shaking our heads at the intolerance, prejudice, and biases of the others, when we're guilty of doing exactly the same thing. It's just from a different angle.

Ironically, it's not until we jump INTO the box that we're able to see clearly enough to devise a solution that is seen as "thinking outside the box."

should people with severe intellectual deficiencies be allowed to breed (either among themselves or with members of general population). what are the probabilities of passing on deficiencies, what measure (if any) should be used establish such deficits, at what point should individual be assesed, what metthod of prevention is to be used and what is the potential impact (if any) of current ideologies on this matter

i take no position personally but this topic is "out of the box" and depending on your stance you might piss some folks off so beware

good luck

Do you want us to give you an issue to deal with? How about mentally retarded people getting married or having kids? I saw something about that on TV the other night and it was not good.

If you are worried to death that the universe will implode before you see your grandchildren, not to worry. We have 500 years before it will happen.
