stockings everywhere?

do women wear stockings everywhere including places like church and work?

Yes, stockings are proper. Now days not so many wear them, but leggings are big this season and my bet is that stockings will have a come back also. Frankly, as a 45 year old female, I think its tacky to wear a fancy dress without stockings and disrespectful to not wear them in church, but I am a bit "old school"

In my country, in cold times, every woman wears hosiery but only those fashion victims that wore strappy sandals on nude legs in the snow.
Of course more then 90% are pantyhose, a little percent of "stay up" stockings, and a negligible share is for those wearing classical stockings.
This in public situations, of course. Bedroom time percentages are sure very different... (wink)

I think most older women. Atleast in the winter. I think the new style for teens and younger is leggings. And you can wear those all year round.

You mean like fishnet, opague black, or stripes? I would wear them anywhere for anything. Nylons are different, they're for camoflaging vericose veins or cellulite, or stubble. So yes probably everywhere.
