i know i've heard of at least one website like this. the people who respond are people who may have expertise in an area that relates to your question. they agree to provide an answer to your question for a (usually small) fee. i have a couple of statistics questions i'd like to pose for a project i'm working on. What is the name of the site?

I'm not sure, there are a lot of them out there. I think ExpertsExchange is one.

However, I would suggest you explore "free" means first if you have a little bit of time to work with. If it's technical related, try http://www.tek-tips.com

The forums there are great, and you can only expect to hear from professionals...

answers.google.com also has a pay for answer system.
